HOW TO GET SAVED?

Finally, I challenge you, that if you have not already prayed to receive Jesus into your heart, so that you can have eternal life, & be guaranteed  an eternal place in Heaven, then please do so immediately, to keep you safe from what is soon coming upon the earth!

If we confess our sins, God will save us from our sins and mistakes. 

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Jesus stated in Revelations 3.20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock, if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him and live with him and him with me”.

“He who believes on the Son of God has eternal life.” John 3.36. That means right now!

Once saved, you are eternally saved, and here is a very simple prayer to help you to get saved:-

“Dear Jesus,

Please come into my heart, forgive me all of my sins,  give me eternal life, and fill me with your Holy Spirit. Please help me to love others and to read the Word of God in Jesus name, Amen. 

Once you’ve prayed that little prayer sincerely, then you are guaranteed a wonderful future in Heaven for eternity with your creator, and loved ones."For God is Love" (1 John 4.16)

As I mentioned earlier in this book, your Salvation does not depend on you going to church, and your good works. Titus 3.5 states “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy he saved us”.

Your salvation only depends on receiving Christ as your saviour, not on church or religion!

(If I could get saved having been an atheist and an evolutionist whilst at university, then anyone can get saved! Just challenge God to prove He exists, & ask Him into your heart! He will show up in your life & teach you the truth!) (John 14.6)

The Relationship of Flesh and Spirit Physical Things vs. Spiritual Things

"Ye MUST be born again" (John 3:7 KJV)

"Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." (John 3:5-6 KJV)

Each man and woman born into this world is a being made of three (3) distinct components:

"And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and [I pray God] your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." (1 Thessalonians 5:23 KJV)

1: The BODY. This is your PHYSICAL component of being. It is flesh made from a collection of unremarkable mineral elements (but is mostly water) and is in harmony with the nature and spirit of this world. It grows, matures, begins to deteriorate, eventually dies, and then decomposes back into its constituent elements and remains a part of the dust of the world. The body is a part of you but is NOT ALL of what defines who YOU are.

"And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed,"(Proverbs 5:11 KJV)

2: The SOUL. This is who YOU are; it is a part of your SPIRITUAL component. This is your

individuality, your "I AM" so to speak (made in God's image), your "heart." Although your individual soul did not exist before your mother and father procreated you, it will exist forever. It cannot be killed by man:

"And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." (Matt. 10:28 KJV)

When your body dies your soul (YOU) will leave the body of flesh:

"And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Benoni: but his father called him Benjamin." (Genesis 35:18 KJV)

3: The SPIRIT. This is the source of power and control for both your body and soul; it is either evil or good, darkness or light, unholy or Holy, unclean or clean, of Satan or of God:

"But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of." (Luke 9:55 KJV)

Where your soul spends eternity after it departs is determined by your personal relationship to God (saved or unsaved). You are an eternal being. You determine your own destiny. In fact, the Bible says that you are a "god" (small "g"):

"Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?(John 10:34 KJV)

"So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." (Gen 1:27 KJV)

The unsaved man or women who have only the first birth are in eternal danger. Since the body and soul of the unsaved man or woman are bonded to the dead spirit of this present world, when this world's physical elements and spiritual components (including "Death") are cast into the lake of fire (see Rev 20:13-15), those eternal souls, living or already dead, will perish with them. So, what exactly is the difference between the relationship of the unsaved soul and the saved soul? What does being "Born Again" actually mean? The answer is something that God does for you at the moment you accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your savior: An OPERATION.

Have you ever been operated on by a doctor? The doctor uses a knife to cut away something that is diseased. Well, God's "operation" is similar. Using the Sword of the Lord instead of a scalpel, the Great Physician (Luke 5:31) severs the direct (but unseen) connection between your soul and your flesh:

"For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."

"Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with [him] through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead." (Col. 2:12 KJV)

This "operation" is a spiritual circumcision. Your flesh is cut away from your soul and you are given God's Spirit:

"But he [is] a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision [is that] of the heart, in the spirit, [and] not in the letter; whose praise [is] not of men, but of God.(Romans 2:29 KJV)

After you have accepted the free gift of salvation through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, and as you grow and mature in the Lord (your continuing sanctification), you will begin to notice some changes in how you think. You will find that your heart (soul) grows more and more in agreement with God and His law (which is spiritual), but your flesh will still want to go the way of the world. All true born-again Christians have a split personality, so to speak. And even when you work not to sin (you don't work to stay saved), sin still happens along your path of Christian growth. Paul sums it up quite well in the book of Romans:

"I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin." (Romans 7:21-25 KJV)

Your soul is saved, but your flesh, your present physical body, is still dead and cannot be salvaged. It will perish and return to the Earth. (You get a new body later.) Your present flesh will still lust to do those things that are unlawful, while at the same time your heart and the Spirit will condemn those thoughts and feelings and empower you to avoid the temptation. But no Christian is perfect in the flesh, and as you go through this life you will sometimes give in to those feelings and will sin in the flesh (but not in your heart).

FACT: The flesh of Christian people still wants to sin after they are saved:

"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.(1 John 1:8 KJV)

"My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:(1 John 2:1 KJV)

When this happens, and the guilt begins to set in, the Christian starts worrying about losing his/her salvation or committing the unpardonable sin. Well, it can't happen. FACT: It is NOT POSSIBLE for a Christian's SOUL to sin, because that soul has been born again by His (God's) seed into God's family:

"Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God." (1 John 3:9 KJV)

As your heart knowledge about God's love grows in your Christian walk, you will begin understanding FROM THE HEART the effects of sin and lawlessness on yourself and others. And as you begin to love others as you love yourself, and strive to do unto others as you would have others do unto you, you will find that you are changing and that change comes from the heart by the indwelling Holy Spirit.

Physical circumcision is permanent and cannot be reversed; once that flesh is cut away it is gone forever. The same metaphor applies to circumcision of the heart; once that body of flesh is cut away your soul can't be reattached to it. And Praise God for that!

Salvation is the FREE GIFT of God and eternal; it is not earned (or retained) by good works:

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" (Romans 3:23 KJV)

"Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified." (Gal 2:16 KJV)

If you are not good enough to earn it, why do so many Christian people think that they can un-earn it?

Once you have given your soul to God it is His forever! If you have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ, then you are loved of God and don't have to worry about holding onto God because HE WILL HOLD ONTO YOU.

"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:38-39 KJV

"EXCEPT YE BECOME AS A LITTLE CHILD, YE SHALL IN NO WISE ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD!" (MAT.18:3).

It pays to be a little child. In fact, Jesus Himself said, "Suffer the little children to come unto Me, for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven" (Mk.10:14). We're to be like little children, loving, sweet, simple believers.--In childlike faith, believing and receiving all that the Lord has for us!

Children are samples of the citizenry of Heaven!--Little angels dropped from the sky! They're so fresh from Heaven, they understand and are not the least bit fearful when it comes to the things of the Lord and the Spirit and even spiritual experiences. It is given to children to be rich in faith! Faith just comes natural to them. They are so fresh from Heavenly places that they have faith to believe anything God says and with them nothing is impossible!

Everybody has a little child in him!

The problem with many grown-ups is that they know too much!--They've been educated out of their childlike faith! But there are others of trusting childlike faith who are daily doing things that doubting intellectuals say can't be done!

So be like a little child and anything wonderful can happen!

SON OF MAN: SON OF GOD: THE MESSIAH: THE SAVIOUR

WHY DOES JESUS FREQUENTLY REFER TO HIMSELF IN THE GOSPELS OF THE NEW TESTAMENT AS "THE SON OF MAN"? - compiled by S.N.Strutt 09/12/18

He called Himself the Son of Man because He was HUMAN, He was born of a woman just like the rest of us. He had the same kind of body that we have, He had the same feelings that we have, the same human limitations we have, He felt the same kind of weariness and pain.

The Creator of all things willingly stripped Himself of His unlimited power and became a tiny helpless infant. The Source of all wisdom and knowledge had to study and learn to read and write. He left His throne in Heaven where innumerable angels worshipped Him, where all the forces of the Universe were at His command, and He took the place of a servant--scoffed at, ridiculed, persecuted and ultimately killed by the very ones He came to save.

The Bible tells us that Jesus is "a High Priest Who is touched with the feeling of our weaknesses, for He was in all points tempted the same way WE are, yet without sin."- Hebrews 4:15.

Imagine!The Son of God literally became a citizen of this World, a member of humanity, a man of flesh, in order to reach us with His Love, prove to us His compassion and concern, and help us to understand His Truth in simple childlike terms that we could grasp.

Isaiah 53:3 tells us, "He was a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief." He wept over the grief of His friends, over the suffering of humanity, and even over Jerusalem, a city that rejected its Saviour and was therefore doomed to destruction.

Jesus was so merciful, so kind and kind-hearted. There were times when He was wearied, worn and virtually exhausted from constantly ministering to the crowds that thronged Him.

On one occasion He tried to retire from the busy scene for a little rest and recuperation, but the Bible tells us that when He saw the multitudes who needed His help, He had COMPASSION upon them. He felt so SORRY for them that despite the weariness and pain He felt, He went out and healed ALL that came to Him, and taught them all the wonderful Words of God's Kingdom of Love. - Matthew 9:36; Mark 6:31-34.

There were also times when God's ANGER blazed through Jesus, the Living Word, against pretense and hypocrisy. He told the self-righteous leaders of the ruling religious hierarchy of His day, "If I had not come and spoken unto you, you would not be guilty of sin, but now I have come and EXPOSED you, so you have no covering for your sin!"-John 15:22.

Actually, most of the time He had very little to do with the lofty, rich-robed, powerful and wealthy religious leaders, the Scribes and the Pharisees.--Except when they insisted on annoying Him and raising critical questions, doubts and accusations among those He was teaching. Then He unleashed scathing rebukes against them, publicly exposing them as the "blind leaders of the blind" that they were "whitewashed SEPULCHRES, tombs, which, although they appeared beautiful, clean and holy OUTWARDLY, were full of rottenness, corruption and stinking dead men's bones WITHIN!"-Matthew 23:27,28.

These religious leaders considered themselves to be the most "righteous and holy" people in town, but Jesus exposed them for the hypocrites, liars, robbers and cheaters of the poor that they were, which of course infuriated them.

But most of the time Jesus avoided the self-satisfied religionists, and spent His time helping and loving the poor, the common man, speaking to them, healing them, feeding them and most importantly, giving them the spiritual answers, Love, forgiveness and Truth that they longed for.

The Bible says that He mingled with and preached to the fishermen, drunks, prostitutes, tax collectors and sinners, and "the COMMON people heard Him GLADLY."-Mark 12:37.

But when He went into the temple and gave His message to the RELIGIOUS leaders, they mobbed Him, threw Him out and finally crucified Him!

SON OF GOD

He not only CLAIMED to be the Son of God, God manifest in human flesh, but He CONVINCED a great portion of the World that He in fact IS God's Son.

Jesus said, "I and my Father are ONE."-John 10:30. Before being born to Mary and living in a fleshly human body, He and His Heavenly Father were together in very close personal Heavenly fellowship, something He had to forsake while He was down here on Earth.

The Bible tells us, "In the BEGINNING was the WORD (Jesus) and the Word was WITH God and the Word WAS God. All things were made by Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made...And the Word (Jesus) was made FLESH and lived AMONG us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the one and only Son of the Father."-John 1:1,2,14.

Just before He was arrested and crucified, knowing that He would soon be reunited with His Heavenly Father, Jesus prayed: "And now, Father, glorify Me along with Yourself and restore Me to such majesty and honour in Your presence as I had with You BEFORE THE WORLD WAS MADE...for You loved Me BEFORE the foundation of the World."-John 17:5,24.

THE MESSIAH - THE SAVIOUR

If any adjective were to describe Jesus, it would be "UNIQUE"!-His MESSAGE was unique. The CLAIMS He made regarding Himself were unique. His MIRACLES were unique. And the INFLUENCE He has had on the World is unsurpassed by any other.

One very outstanding and undeniably unique aspect of Jesus' life is that literally hundreds of detailed PREDICTIONS and PROPHECIES were made by ancient prophets and seers, many centuries before He was born. Specific details regarding His birth, life and death, that no mere mortal man could possibly have fulfilled!

In the first books of the Bible, known as the "Old Testament," over 300 such predictions about the "Messiah" or "Saviour" can be found. The discovery of hundreds of ancient Old Testament manuscripts by archaeologists during this century has proven without a doubt that these prophecies were indeed written CENTURIES BEFORE this man called Jesus was born.

How could anyone manipulate their bitter enemies to pay a specific price for their betrayal, mock and revile them as they are dying, much less cause a band of soldiers to gamble for their clothing and pierce their side AFTER they've died, & cause a rich man to bury their body in his own personal tomb? Yet Jesus of Nazareth fulfilled not only these, but OVER 300 MORE specific predictions regarding His birth, life, ministry, death and resurrection!-Truly He was and is "UNIQUE" in every sense of the word!

In the first books of the Bible, known as the "Old Testament," over 300 such predictions about the "Messiah" or "Saviour" can be found. The discovery of hundreds of ancient Old Testament manuscripts by archaeologists during this century has proven without a doubt that these prophecies were indeed written CENTURIES BEFORE this man called Jesus was born.

Here is a small sampling of the kind of specific predictions we're talking about: In 750 B.C., the prophet Isaiah made the astounding prediction that:

 "THE LORD HIMSELF SHALL GIVE YOU A SIGN; BEHOLD, A VIRGIN SHALL CONCEIVE AND BEAR A SON, AND SHALL CALL HIS NAME EMMANUEL."--ISAIAH 7:14.

7-1/2 centuries later, a young virgin girl in Israel named Mary was visited by the Arch-angel Gabriel, who announced to her that she would bear a Son Who would be called Emmanuel, which means "God with us." The books of the Bible which were written after Jesus came to Earth, the "New Testament," tell us that, "Mary said to the angel, 'How can this be, seeing I have not LAIN with any man?' And the angel answered, 'The Spirit of GOD shall come upon you, and the power of the ALMIGHTY shall overshadow you! Therefore that Holy One which shall be born of you shall be called the SON OF GOD!'"-Luke 1:26-35.

So even the very BEGINNING of His life on Earth-His conception and birth-were not only unique, but MIRACULOUS, in that the simple and humble young girl who became His mother had never slept with a man!

In fact, the Bible tells us that the news of her pregnancy was so shocking to the young man to whom she was engaged to be married, Joseph, that when he learned about it he promptly decided to break off the engagement and call off the wedding!-

Until the angel of the Lord appeared to him also, and instructed him to stay with her and rear and protect the very special child that she was carrying.

A full 800 YEARS before Jesus was born, the prophet Micah foretold the exact village where the Messiah would be born:

"YOU, BETHLEHEM, THOUGH YOU ARE SMALL AMONG THE CLANS OF JUDAH, YET OUT OF YOU SHALL HE COME FORTH UNTO ME WHO IS TO BE RULER OVER ISRAEL; WHOSE GOINGS FORTH HAVE BEEN OF OLD, FROM DAYS OF ETERNITY."-MICAH 5:2

Although His earthly parents lived in the town of Nazareth, 100 miles to the north of Bethlehem, a decree from Rome demanded that all families return to their ancestral homes to register for a worldwide census. The decree came just as Mary's child was due to be born.-Thus God used a Roman emperor, Caesar Augustus, to help bring about the fulfillment of Micah's prophecy.

Joseph and Mary journeyed to Bethlehem, and upon their arrival, Mary went into labour, and as the Gospels inform us, "Jesus was born in BETHLEHEM of Judea" (Matthew 2:1), just as the prophet Micah predicted.

Micah's prophecy also tells us that the Messiah "Has been of old, from days of ETERNITY." Jesus Himself said, "Before ABRAHAM was (around 2000 B.C.), I AM."-John 8:58.

Abraham was the forefather of the Jews and Arabs, who lived about 2,000 YEARS before Jesus was born to Mary. So Jesus was referring here to His pre-existence with God before His life on Earth in the form of a man.

Though born in Bethlehem, Jesus grew up in Nazareth. In His first recorded public address there, He openly declared that He indeed WAS the fulfillment of the Old Testament prophecies regarding the Messiah.

While attending the local house of worship, He stood up before the crowd and read a prophecy from the book of the prophet Isaiah. In the passage, Isaiah predicted that the Messiah would be anointed with the Spirit of God to "preach Good News to the poor, to heal the broken hearted, to give freedom to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind and to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."-Isaiah 61:1,2. The New Testament tells us that after He read this prophecy aloud to the congregation, Jesus told them, "TODAY is this Scripture FULFILLED in your ears!"-Luke 4:18-21.

Another outstanding prophecy regarding the Messiah was made by Israel's King David around the year 1000 B.C., or over 10 CENTURIES before Jesus was born. In his prophecy, David gave details of a cruel and agonising death which he himself never suffered:

"I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint. My heart is like wax, it has melted within me...Like a pack of dogs, they have surrounded me; a company of evil doers has encircled me. They have pierced my hands and my feet. They divide my clothing among them and cast lots for my garment."-Psalm 22:14-18.

King David died a peaceful, natural death, so we know he was not talking about himself in this passage of Scripture. But being a prophet, he predicted with unerring accuracy the circumstances surrounding the cruel death on the cross of the Messiah, the CHRIST that was to come. Let's examine some of the details outlined in the above prophecy:

"I am poured out like water...my heart is melted within me." Jesus not only poured out His life for us spiritually, but the New Testament tells us that shortly after He died, while He was still hanging on the cross, "one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately BLOOD AND WATER FLOWED OUT."--John 19:34. Modern medical authorities have affirmed that in the case of heart rupture--when a human heart literally bursts open under extreme stress and trauma-the blood collects in the pericardium, the membranous sac that encloses the heart and the roots of the main blood vessels. This blood then separates into a sort of bloody clot and a watery serum, thus when the soldier pierced His side, His life was LITERALLY, "poured forth like WATER." (Unwittingly, this Roman soldier fulfilled another prophecy, "They will look upon Me whom they have PIERCED," a prophecy given by the Prophet Zechariah around 500 B.C.-Zechariah 12:10.)

"All my bones are out of joint."-This is one of the horrors of death by crucifixion; the weight of the victim's body literally pulls his arms out of their sockets.

"Like a pack of dogs...a company of evil doers has encircled me." The New Testament tells us that Jesus' wicked and vengeful religious enemies, the Scribes and the Pharisees, gathered around Him as He was nailed on the cross, mocking and reviling Him.-Matthew 27:39-44.

"They have pierced my hands and my feet." This is probably the most astounding prediction within this prophecy. Crucifixion was not practiced by the Jews of David's time.

Their religious laws demanded that criminals be executed by STONING. But God showed His Prophet, David, how the Messiah would die 10 CENTURIES LATER, executed at the hands of an empire that did not even exist in David's day, ROME, whose principal means of executing criminals was CRUCIFIXION!

"They divide my clothing among them and cast lots for my garment." In the Gospels of the New Testament we find the almost incredible fulfillment of this prophecy: "When the soldiers had crucified Jesus, they took His clothes, and DIVIDED them into four shares, one for each of them, with the undergarment (a long robe-like tunic) remaining. This garment was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom. So they said one to another, 'Let us not tear it, but let us CAST LOTS to decide whose it shall be.'"-John 19:23,24.

In 487 B.C., the Prophet Zechariah predicted: "And I said unto them, if you think well, give me my PRICE; and if not, keep it. So they paid me 30 PIECES OF SILVER."-Zechariah 11:12.

On the night that Jesus was arrested by His enemies, the New Testament tells us that, "One of the twelve Apostles, Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests and said to them, 'What will you give me if I deliver Him to you?', and they counted out for him 30 PIECES OF SILVER."-Matthew 26:14,15.

Imagine!-Over five hundred years before the event took place, God's Prophet, Zechariah, predicted the EXACT "PRICE" that Jesus' enemies would pay to His traitorous disciple, Judas! In the next verse of Zechariah's prophecy, he goes into even more astounding details:

"And the Lord said, 'Cast it unto the POTTER--the handsome price at which they priced Me!' So the 30 pieces of silver were taken and CAST TO THE POTTER IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD."-Zechariah 11:13.

The New Testament tells us that, "When Judas saw that Jesus was condemned, he repented, and RETURNED the 30 PIECES OF SILVER to the chief priests of the Jews, and he cast down the pieces of silver in the TEMPLE. Then the chief priests picked up the silver pieces and said, 'It is against our law to put it into our treasury because it is blood-money.' So they used the money to buy a POTTER'S FIELD, to bury foreigners in."-Matthew 27:3-6.

The 30 pieces of silver were literally "CAST to the POTTER in the HOUSE of the LORD"!--Just as Zechariah predicted 500 years earlier!

In 712 B.C., the prophet Isaiah predicted that the Son of God would "be given a GRAVE WITH THE WICKED, and with the RICH in His DEATH."-Isaiah 53:9.

Jesus' bitter religious enemies condemned Him as a CRIMINAL, as a WICKED man, thus as He died, the Bible tells us "there were two ROBBERS crucified with Him."-Matthew 27:38.

After His body was removed from the cross, "a RICH MAN named Joseph of Arimathaea went to Pilate and pleaded for the body of Jesus, and when Joseph had taken the body, he laid it IN HIS OWN NEW TOMB."-Matthew 27:57-60.-A "GRAVE WITH THE RICH!"

1,000 YEARS before Jesus was born, the Spirit of God prophesied through King David that the Saviour would be resurrected from the dead: "God will not leave His soul in the grave, neither will He suffer His Holy One to see corruption or decay."-Psa.16:10.

King David died and was buried in a grave, and HIS flesh saw corruption and decay. But JESUS was raised from the grave three days after His death!--As the Angel said to the mourners who came to Jesus' tomb, "He is not here, but is RISEN! Why do you seek the living among the dead?"-Lk.24:5,6.

IDOL WORSHIPPING IN MODERN TIMES? Isn’t that an archaic idea or not?- S.N.Strutt 29/09/18

Why is it wrong to worship graven images? Wow! Now that is a very big topic.  What is an Idol? It is something that people put before worshipping God Himself.

What do most people today give most of their attention to? Is it not the god Mammon?

Most of their decisions rotate around money worship and acquiring both money and things rather than to trust God for their needs as God’s Word clearly states. Ph 4.19 ‘My God shall supply all of your needs according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus’.

So, Mammon is a very big IDOL today. Spiritually speaking, there are DEMONS behind the IDOLS, so that excessively doing anything that becomes an obsession or an addiction is IDOL worshipping, and is most definitely influenced by demons, to the point that people today are worshipping Idols and the Demons behind them. Under these circumstances unless you are protected by Salvation through Jesus, then you could get demon-possessed by one of these demons if you don’t watch out!

Before the Great Flood these Demons were physically visible as the giants and demi-gods of old. After they died they became the disembodied spirits of the giants and have been plaguing mankind ever since.

Another thing that the nations worship is WAR and the various gods of War and Destruction. Second to War is SPORTS worship. The U.S.A spends more than half of it’s national yearly budget on weapons of war which destroy other nations in order to make more money and to control and enslave the nations. Modern people inadvertently have become Idol worshippers and the worst thing is they don’t even realize it!

Man’s Religions are another IDOL where people put $ billions into useless buildings which could have been used to feed the poor of the nations or to send missionaries out to poorer countries to tell them about Jesus.

God never asked people to build expensive religious buildings. What God said was to take care of others, not waste $ billions that could be used to help millions of less fortunate peoples around the world.

ISA.66:1 Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?

ISA.66:2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

God’s commandments are few, as Jesus clearly stated in Matthew 22.3-40 & in fact are just two-fold:

1) Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all of thy heart, all of they mind and all of thy spirit & all your strength.

2) Thou shalt love they neighbour as thyself

THE IDOL-WORSHIPPING of organized religions.

Why is it wrong to worship buildings as in the case of false organized religions such as Christian churches, Jewish synagogues and Moslem Mosques etc? Again, as with the Idol of Mammon worship, it is stated in the Bible ‘You cannot worship God and Mammon’. Religious buildings are generally halls of Mammon worship and are generally, spiritually dead places. Why? Because God certainly doesn’t live there as He never asked for religious buildings, icons in the form of famous paintings, statues and other very expensive idols and talismans right inside the churches (Especially the Catholic churches).

ACT.7:48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet (Isaiah).

Jesus said, ‘Give all that thou hast and give it to the poor and come thou and follow Me.

MAT.19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

MAT.19:22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

MAT.19:23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

The truth be known the religions of man are used by the ‘Powers that be’ to control the masses to keep them subservient to Mammon and not God.

Today in modern times unbeknownst to most people there are more IDOLS than ever before. Look how much time young people spend on X-Boxes, Play-stations and I-Phones. Not to mention the serious misuse of both DRUGS and ALCOHOL. I have mentioned but a few of the IDOLS that people truly worship today!

 In general I would say that whatever people put BEFORE God has become their IDOL!

THE TRUTH ABOUT MANY OF THE CHRISTIAN CHURCHES TODAY? THEY HAVE ALMOST TOTALLY LOST THE PLOT!

MAR.16:15 And he said unto them, ‘Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature’.

From what I have seen in visiting churches in the UK, many of them no longer represent the teachings of Jesus Christ, but unfortunately many of the churches have just become claptraps that use Christianity and its appeal to rake in the money; by first of all softening the people up with some lullaby music that has no conviction, followed by a sermon with a couple of Bible verses each week. Hardly more than enough spiritual food to feed a spiritual mouse, if such a thing existed!. Then promising them that they ‘the faithful’ of that particular church, will see future eternal bliss as long as they faithfully tithe to the church; & faithfully go to their particular church every Sunday without fail, or they might go to Hell if they aren’t faithful & incur God’s Wrath. Well at least that is their attitude! Some of the churches even instil fear into their parishioners, if they don’t do exactly what he church teaches; again, it is all about control!

When did Jesus himself ever say it was necessary to go to a church building? He never did! The original word ‘church’ comes from the Greek word Ecclesia meaning the ‘called out’ ones. The real meaning of ‘church’ is not a building at all but the ‘true believers’. We as collective believers from all denominations who truly love Jesus and His Word are not limited to any buildings.

Personally, I feel more contact with God and Jesus by going out in the nature and praying to God by myself than going to a confusing church service.

I wish all the religions would sell all of their buildings and properties and do exactly what Jesus commanded in the first place: ‘Go, and forsake all that thou hast, give to the poor and come and follow me’.

LUK.14:33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsakes not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

That was spoken to a rich young man who unfortunately went away sorrowing as he had too many riches to forsake.

So many churches now teach the easier doctrine of ABUNDANCE that if Christians are ‘blessed by God’, then they should be rich, wealthy and have everything.

This erroneous teaching is directly contrary to original Christian teachings. So, in effect the churches are teaching their people to follow hard after Mammon, instead of to totally trust God for their needs according to Jesus’s teachings.

They spend most of their money on buildings, instead of teaching others about Jesus and teaching God’s Word and ‘making disciples’ of all nations.

Making disciples means teaching people how to live like Christ did i.e sacrificing and living for both the Love of God and to truly love others. I have been shocked by the practices of churches where they don’t even read the Bible anymore and certainly don’t promote God’s Word, but mostly their particular specific religious doctrines, which when you analysis them thoroughly, you come to realize that the churches are NOT interested in their parishioners getting stronger in the spirit by reading more of God’s Word.

Each church hierarchy is like a dictatorship with no room to interject any new ideas.

They don’t want each and every parishioner to develop a strong relationship with both Jesus, God and His Holy Spirit.

Why? Because that would mean that each Christian would be able to stand on his own feet spiritually and probably won’t have any further need for archaic, dry and boring religious churches, who are obviously going nowhere spiritually speaking, but are mostly interested in promoting Mammon worship.

I myself recently literally got thrown out of a church, when I was trying to read to them about Bible prophecy right out of their own Bibles. I realize now that they don’t believe that Bible prophecy has any real meaning or interpretation but is supposed to be looked upon as mere poems with no meaning.

How blind the churches in general have become! Why? Because they have refused to face the facts and continue to play the game of going to church, when that is not where God Himself is going, and it was not what He commanded Christians to do.

I predict that most of the current churches will all fall apart within a few years as they no longer have the ballast of God’s living Words to keep them both alive and united in the Lord’s love.

The false religions of man,  of which ‘Churchianity’ as I call it, or False Christianity are the worst examples, as they should know better, but generally deliberately blind themselves to the truth of the real Gospel of Jesus Christ which involves humility and real dedication to Christ, and instead as they would prefer to be rich and popular and accepted, instead of poor and persecuted and not received by most people; these churces are perfectly described in the Book of Revelations in chapter 17 &18 which shows false religions as a Great Whore, and Mother of Harlots. Notice that according to Revelations 17-18 all the false religions will be eliminated by the Anti-Christ when he comes to power. Even the Devil in the form of the Anti-Christ will be used by God Himself to perform some of His Word: God Himself will finally take vengeance on the FALSE RELIGIOUS SYSTEMS and utterly ‘burn them with fire’

REV.17:16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

REV.17:17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.

THE COMMUNISTS ARE TOO RIGHT IN STATING THAT RELIGION IS THE OPIATE OF THE PEOPLE! EXACTLY THAT, A HORRIBLE DRUG WHICH PUTS MOST OF THE CHURCHES IN THE WEST TO SLEEP AND TOTALLY OBLIVIOUS TO THE CONDITIONS IN THE WHOLE WORLD AROUND THEM AND TOTALLY UNCONCERNED ABOUT THE PLIGHT OF OTHERS IN OTHER COUNTRIES LESS FORTUNATE

THE ATHEIST DELUSION MOVIE

In my opinion this MOVIE is FANTASTIC, as it covers all the BASES.

As a WITNESSING Christian myself who has been a missionary for 44 years in many different countries, I am very impressed with the amazing WITNESS of this VIDEO.

The presentator gives a very clear message of SALVATION by GRACE. This film could be used as an excellent tool by active Christians to witness to many other searching souls.

The video not only has excellent proofs from Science itself, but it also has a lot of HEART and deep UNDERSTANDING of each person on this planet, without RELIGIOSITY.

I highly recommend that everyone watches this film.

Respected Scientist Says He Found Proof God Exists

One of the world’s most respected scientists has said that there is scientific proof that points to the existence of God.

According to the Geophilosophical Association of Anthropological and Cultural Studies, scientist Michio Kaku, who is known as one of the developers of the revolutionary String Theory, stated, “I have concluded that we are in a world made by rules created by an intelligence.”

In a video Kaku explains, using physics and mathematics and referencing String Theory, how science points to the existence of God.

The very purpose of physics, says Kaku is “to find an equation … which will allow us to unify all the forces of nature and allow us to read the mind of God.”

Kaku has proposed a theory to that end, using what he calls “primitive semi-radius tachyons.”

“To me it is clear that we exists in a plan which is governed by rules that were created, shaped by a universal intelligence and not by chance,” he stated.

Once these new scientific discoveries become widely known, the concept of chance will be changed forever.

“Believe me,” says Kaku, “everything that we call chance today won’t make sense anymore.”

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

Become a New Creature in Christ

Grace plus faith plus nothing.—That’s salvation. You don’t have to be good to get saved, and you don’t have to be good to stay saved. But this does not mean that you can just live as you please once you are saved. If you are really a Christian you will always be saved, but if you commit sins against the Lord and others which are unconfessed, unrepented of, and not made right, you will suffer for them in some way, “for whom the Lord loveth, He chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom He receiveth.”1 But even if you are disobedient at times and are chastened by the Lord for your sins, if you are saved, you’ll always be saved.

When, as a young Christian, I read John 3:36, that ended all my worries. “He that hath the Son hath everlasting life.” That was it. I knew I had Jesus, and I knew He didn’t keep popping in and out of my heart. He was there all the time. He says, “Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.”2 He says, “I will never leave thee nor forsake thee,”3 and “I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand.”4

So thank the Lord that we can be saved and know it. And of course, if you really are, you’ll show it too. You’ll no longer be like everybody else in the world; you’ll be different. You’ll be a “new creature in Christ Jesus; old things will be passed away, and all things will become new.”5 There’ll be a change, a real change.

Jesus coming into your life not only renews and purifies and regenerates your spirit, but it also renews your mind, breaking old connections and reflexes and gradually rebuilding and rewiring you into a whole new computer system with an utterly different outlook on life, a new way of looking at the world, and with new reactions to nearly everything around you.

It’s impossible for men to really change themselves, but it’s possible for God to change anyone. And when Jesus comes into your heart, everything is changed. You are a new person.

If you are genuinely saved, born again, a new creature in Christ Jesus, old things are passed away and all things are become new. And if you “abide in Him and He abides in you, then you shall bring forth fruit.”6 If you are genuinely saved, if you are genuinely born again, if you have God in your heart, if you have salvation, if you have Jesus, you’re a new creature and you will be different.

So expect things to be different. Not totally different perhaps, as you’re still human. But you’ll find a change in your spirit, in your thoughts, in your heart and in your direction. You’ll be happy and overflowing with love. Because if you have Jesus, you have love. For “God is love.”7

Do you have Jesus? Have you taken Him into your heart and been born again by His Spirit? Are you truly changed, a new person, a new creature, one in which old things have passed away and all things have become new? You don’t have to walk down to an altar; you don’t have to stand up, sit down, turn over, or stand on your head. It has nothing to do with the position of your body. It’s all in how you position your heart. If your heart is humble before God and you know you’re a sinner and need His help, all you have to do is ask Him into your heart.

Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me.”8 Salvation is so powerful, but God will not force it on you. His love is all-powerful, but He won’t make you receive it. Jesus knocks at the door; He doesn’t kick it in. He could break it down or pulverize it with one look, but He refuses to force His way into your heart.

He simply asks to come in, and you have to invite Him. That is the limitation He has set and the condition He requires. You have to let Him come in, but if you won’t invite Him willingly, He won’t force His way in.

He wants to save you, but He can’t do it unless you want Him to. You have to ask Him to come in. Gentle Jesus stands there, meek and mild, in loving patience, and perhaps has been for years, waiting at your heart’s door—knocking again and again by His Word, by His love, perhaps by some sad incident or the parting of a loved one, a death or sickness or pain.

But God has left the majesty of choice up to you as an individual, and nobody can ever force you to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior. You alone can make that choice, if and when you want to. He certainly wants to be your Savior and He will come in, just as soon as you ask Him. But you must make the decision. He’s left that choice up to you.

Do you have Jesus in your heart? Then you are saved forever and bound for heaven and will never be lost. Are you saved? If you’re not sure, make sure right now and receive Him personally as your own Lord and Savior by sincerely praying this simple prayer:

“Lord Jesus, please forgive me for all my sins. I believe You died for me. I believe You are the Son of God, and I now ask You to come into my life. I open the door and I invite You into my heart. Jesus, please come in and help me to love others and tell them about You, that they may find You too. Help me to read Your Word and understand it by Your Spirit. In Your name I ask. Amen.”

If you pray this prayer and mean it, Jesus will come in. Jesus promised that if you open the door to your heart, if you ask Him to come in, He will come in. Period.

True salvation is based on pure faith in God’s Word, not faith in feelings. Your feelings may change from day to day—sometimes good, sometimes bad—but the Bible, God’s Word, never changes. So put your faith in His Word, for “faith comes by hearing the Word of God.”9 The Bible is definite, so no matter how you feel, if you ask Jesus to come in, He comes in, because He promised He would.

Of course, being born again, receiving Jesus, will result in a change in your life, as you show your faith by your works.10 But it is not necessarily always manifested at the moment by a big emotional feeling or outward show—although it sometimes is. But regardless of your feelings, God’s Word is always the same and Jesus will always come in when asked.

“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.”11 God bless you with His love and salvation—now and forever. By David Brandt Berg
